Reading the basis labels

Under every chapter sits a small label naming its basis. 'From your pasted notes' means the chapter was composed from material you added that morning. 'Model knowledge, as of' a date means it draws on the language model's own knowledge, and the date tells you how fresh that knowledge is.

On deployments without a model key, chapters come from our hand-written sample library and are labeled 'Editorial sample'.

The brief never presents model knowledge as this morning's news. If a chapter sounds like breaking news, its basis label will show you a source you added; that is the guarantee.
