Custom voices and notes for the morning

New
v1.4 · September 7, 2026
  • Pro listeners can give each brief its own voice, picked from a curated ElevenLabs set and previewed before saving.
  • Paste feeds or notes into any morning: chapters composed from them carry a source basis label naming your material.
  • The archive is replayable end to end; replaying a past morning never counts against your weekly allowance.
  • Playback speed control at 1x, 1.25x, and 1.5x, remembered per listener.

Model-agnostic composition, generally available

Improved
v1.3 · August 10, 2026
  • One editorial prompt and one validated episode contract now run identically across OpenAI and Anthropic models.
  • Basis labels moved fully into the contract: a chapter without a declared basis cannot be stored at all.
  • The no-invented-news rule is enforced in validation, not just in the prompt.
  • Composition latency for a full brief dropped by roughly a third.

Public launch

Launch
v1.0 · July 14, 2026
  • Briefwynd is live: pick your topics and tone, and every morning a personal brief composes and speaks, with a readable version alongside.
  • Free plan with a real spoken brief on three mornings a week; Daily ($8) brings every morning at full length; Pro ($16) adds multiple briefs.
  • The homepage demo composes and speaks a 90 second sample from your topics, no account required.
  • Chapters, the sunrise progress arc, and the live waveform ship in the first player.
